At Autumn Leaves, we go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive the best care possible in a safe and secure environment. A big part of that commitment comes in the form of hiring some of the brightest minds (and caring hearts!) in the business. Take Trenise Wray, for example. As the Maintenance Manager for Autumn Leaves of Crystal Lake, she works hard to make sure the residents’ home stays in tip-top shape, from day-to-day maintenance, to improvements throughout the year, like this Wellness Room project we found her working on recently!
The bar is set high for our Maintenance Managers, as there are a multitude of scenarios they will encounter in this role. Each applicant must pass a rigorous set of pre-qualifications to even be considered for employment, including an in-depth Knowledge and Skills Assessment test. This test not only covers the basics, but delves into more complex electrical, air conditioning/heating, plumbing, painting, and woodworking questions that are challenging for even the most seasoned candidate.
Not only did Trenise pass this test (she’s the only female maintenance manager across 40 communities!), but this dedicated mother of four understands the heart needed to work at Autumn Leaves. There’s not much she can’t do, and the residents’ safety and well-being are her top priority. The Crystal Lake community is certainly lucky to have such an amazing woman on their team.
