This letter was written to our Autumn Leaves of Edmond resident, Ronald, from his loving son, Kevin.
Dear Dad,
You have been the best Dad that ever lived, and I am fortunate! I have always admired and have the utmost respect for you. It is amazing that in 91 years, you have never disappointed me in any way!
Dad, you have also been such a great example of high moral character and strength. I admire how you always fought for what is right and protected those who could not protect themselves.
You have been such a loving caring husband to Mom and have been a great example of how to raise a loving family.
I have had the privilege of living with a war hero who saved lives on Iwo Jima as a Marine, and also got to see a tender side when dealing with people. Your love was teaching Agriculture but I think you were best as a school Counselor, and then an awesome school Principal.
Your Mom, Dad, brothers, and sisters were all awesome. I love hearing all the stories about the past, and how any time you tell them, that it makes you happy, and how you light up.
Most of all, I am happy that you are a Christian and that we will all be back together someday.
Happy Father’s Day Dad.
We all love you very much!
