Memory Care from the Ground Up

Our commitment to caring for your loved one begins before we ever break ground on a new memory care community. Each Autumn Leaves community is designed for maximum contact between our staff and your loved one. Consequently, we place our administrative offices in the midst of our residents living spaces. Not locked away on the other end of the building. We believe an open door policy makes our memory care residents feel more at home. Our residents are always welcome to drop in and pay us a visit. Nothing is so important that our managers can’t stop what they are doing and say hello.

The suite sizes, the décor, and the lighting have all been designed to provide a safe, happy, and relaxing environment. Our living room is spacious and inviting. Our library provides a wide array of large print books and colorful tabletop books. Our solarium provides the perfect venue for crafts and creativity. Even the hallways have been carefully designed to assist the residents as they travel back to their room.

Our Executive Directors are fully trained in dementia care and 100% focused on your loved one. They place their full attention on our residents and their welfare.

At Autumn Leaves our Executive Directors are more than managers; they are also caregivers. They keep an eye on your loved one and an open line of communication to you, the family member.

These hands-on managers get to know and understand each and every resident. They also serve as your eyes and ears in the community making sure your requests are heard and honored.

Not Simply Nurses, Dementia Care Specialists

Our nursing staff is more than trained RNs and LVNs. They are dementia care specialists. Each one has completed specific dementia care training. They have one priority: the wellbeing of your loved one. These highly trained nurses attend to the care of our residents both in the community and on call. They are available to handle most any problem.

From the first contact at the resident’s home for an initial assessment to the transition to our community, the nurse is there to manage the entire process. Our nursing staff is here to make this difficult transition easier on both your family and your loved one.
