Join us for a candid conversation about caregiving with Governor Martin Schreiber

Former Wisconsin Governor Martin J. Schreiber understands the difficult road of the dementia journey better than most. As the caregiver for his wife, Elaine, who lives with Alzheimer’s disease, Mr. Schreiber has seen firsthand the impact this disease has on everyone in its orbit. He chronicled his experience in a beautifully honest and emotional memoir entitled, My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver.

In this very special Zoom event, Mr. Schreiber will join us virtually to share his challenges and missteps and to highlight how compassion and humor can be incredibly beneficial not only to the caregiver, but also the person living with dementia.

Space is limited! RSVP to cdempsey@autumnleaves.com with the date you’d like to attend and you will receive a Zoom invitation via email.

Tuesday, April 20th, 1pm  or  Wednesday, April 21st, 3pm

The first 10 RSVPs will receive an autographed copy of My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver.

"We liked that it is state of the art, and that it's set up with memory care in mind. The halls are themed so that they don't have to remember much, down to the decorations. They use lighting techniques to keep people on schedule, that helps with sun downing." Henrietta G. - Sugarloaf, TX
