Designed With Memory Care In Mind

We like to say we have designed our memory care experience from the ground up, because everything from decor to activities to the meals are thoughtfully designed with our residents in mind. When you visit Autumn Leaves of St. Charles, you’ll notice abundant natural light, wide hallways with handrails and places to rest along the way, an easy to understand wayfinding plan that helps residents navigate the community with ease, secured courtyard areas to enjoy fresh air and sunshine, and other carefully curated features designed to create a safe and calming environment.

In-House Rehab Services

A Life Filled With Purpose and Moments of Joy
When it comes to daily living, our Inspired Connections™ program aims to create moments of joy and purpose from the moment our residents have their first cup of coffee in the morning until they are tucked safely in bed in the evening. We’re passionate about getting to know our resident’s interests, history, and preferences so that we can tailor activities and other programming to encourage engagement and help foster a true sense of belonging in the community each day.

Food For the Soul
Our culinary staff is also trained to recognize the unique nutritional challenges that come with dementia. Each resident’s meals are made from scratch and personalized according to his or her preferences and specific dietary needs with additional attention to daily hydration. Special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries and festive holiday experiences are also highlights of the dining experience at Autumn Leaves of St. Charles. As a family member of a resident, you are always invited to attend these special occasions.

Award-Winning Programming

Autumn Leaves assisted living communities have been recognized as the “best of the best” providers in dementia care by Argentum, the nation’s leading senior living professional organization. We’re also proud winners of the Argentum Hero Award in addition to other accolades.

What They Say

“The most difficult decision I ever had to make was moving my Mom in Memory Care. But all of you made it easier. The compassion you showed not just my Mom, but to me – counseling me thru my tears and guilty feelings. I loved the videos and photos you shared, reassuring me that my Mom was active and happy. It takes a very special person to work with seniors with memory loss – patience, empathy, warm-heartedness and of course a sense of humor! All of you have those qualities and more. I felt a sense of family at Autumn Leaves. A place where my Mom was treated with respect and kindness.”
