Per the latest weather reports, Hurricane Florence may stall over the coast, and not make landfall until the weekend.
Regardless, we are prepared.
Autumn Leaves® of Fort Mill and Greenville, South Carolina, have secured additional supplies of food, water, personal care items, prescription medications, and the like. Generators have been tested and are fueled. Staff schedules have been adjusted to ensure sufficient coverage.
Our Customer Care team contacted many family members today by phone to share our plans.

Autumn Leaves continues to monitor the track of Hurricane Florence.
Anticipated landfall remains overnight Thursday into Friday. The storm is expected to bring heavy rains and flooding to both coastal and inland Carolinas communities.
The safety of our residents and staff is our top priority. Our Fort Mill and Greenville, South Carolina, communities are finalizing preparations for the storm. Today, for example, both communities took delivery of additional supplies of food and water, personal care products, residents’ prescription medications, and other provisions. Our facilities teams are also on-site preparing the buildings for a potentially significant rain event in the coming days.

Autumn Leaves is monitoring the progress of Hurricane Florence. As of 5:00 pm EDT, the storm was located in the Atlantic Ocean about 800 miles east-southeast of Cape Fear, North Carolina.
The current forecast indicates that Florence will make landfall overnight Thursday into Friday along the mid-Atlantic coast. Once inland, the storm is expected to produce heavy rains and potentially significant flooding in the region, particularly along the coast.
Safety of our residents and staff is Autumn Leaves’ foremost priority. Our Fort Mill and Greenville, South Carolina, communities are staying abreast of the situation and taking measures to protect residents and employees. Additional provisions and supplies have been delivered to both communities strictly as a precaution in advance of the storm.
